Delivery Terms & Conditions
The Plant Area Ltd, trading as Edwins Garden Centre, is delighted to offer a local delivery service for online and in store purchases.
Local Delivery Flat Fee, No Minimum Spend
There is no minimum spend for delivery. Delivery is offered to the below postcodes for a fixed £10.00 fee. Please check the below postcodes* before ordering.

Who delivers my order?
A member of our staff delivers to our set local postcodes, in one of our vans.
For deliveries further afield the transport method and cost of delivery will be agreed upon with the customer prior to purchase.
Do you offer fast track, next day or delivery time slots?
No, we aim to deliver as quickly as we can. This is dependent on stock and driver availability.
Can I arrange delivery to a different address?
Yes, providing the relevant, agreed delivery charge is paid for.
What notification will I receive?
You will receive an email or text notifying delivery day after full payment.
Can I change my delivery date?
If you need to change your delivery date please contact email@example.com or contact 01483 714861. You will need your order number details.
Do I need to be in to receive the delivery?
You do not need to be in to receive the delivery unless there is a legal need to see identification, e.g., with the purchase of alcohol. Identification is either a valid passport or driver’s license. Note: by placing your orders on age-restricted items you are declaring that you are 18 years or older.
Returns and Refunds
We hope you are delighted with your purchases, but if you are not, we have a Returns Policy to help.
Not quite want you wanted?
If you wish to return an item purchased in store, you have up to 28 days from the date of purchase for an exchange or refund in store.
If you wish to return an item purchased via our Web Shop you have 28 days to return it to one of our shops

How to Return
If you purchased an in store at Clandon Park or Egley Road, Woking, please return to one of the stores. It does not have to be the same store you purchased the item. You will need your receipt for proof of purchase and purchase date and the payment card you made the original purchase with. Refunds can only go onto cards that the product was purchased with.
For online orders please take your online order confirmation or delivery note to an Edwins’ garden centre with the item you wish to exchange or return. If this is not possible, please email the delivery note and issue to firstname.lastname@example.org and someone will be in touch.
On receipt of returned goods, your refund will be received within 7 working days.
Please note we do not refund any delivery costs or refund postage or costs of returning the goods in person or via mail or courier.
If a collection is requested for large items that were delivered, please note that we will only process your refund once your item has been returned and checked. Delivery costs will only be reimbursed if the item is faulty upon inspection. This process can take up to 14 days.
All items need to be in line with our Returns Policy. Items must be in their original packaging, unused, with proof of purchase and date of purchase. If no proof of purchase and date is available, items may be exchanged to the same value at the discretion of an Edwins’ Manager.
Online Order Returns
Amends & Cancellations
To change or cancel a webshop order which has yet to be dispatched, please contact Edwins, Woking. Tel: 01483 714861 or email@example.com with details of your order number and what order details are changing. If you wish to return an order, or part order, which has been received, please follow our return instructions.
Incorrect Item Sent or Damaged in Transit
If we sent you the wrong item, or it has arrived in less than perfect order, please contact Edwins, Woking. Tel: 01483 714861 or firstname.lastname@example.org with details of your order number and we will assist to solve the issue.
Faulty Goods within 30 days
If your product develops a fault within 30 days of purchase, please return the item with proof of purchase and we will exchange or refund. Some items may be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. If the fault is after 30 days, please do get in touch. It will be at the discretion of the store manager as to the next steps to solve the issue.
Edwins prides itself on the care and quality of all our plants, shrubs and suppliers of our bulbs and seeds (hereafter referred to as Plants). Plants are seasonal and will look different depending on the time of year. Plants need to be cared for and fed to grow and be amazing. If you believe your plant is in poor condition, please contact your local Edwins. Our staff are knowledgeable and will be able to assist. If you are unable to visit the store or prefer to send a photograph of the plant to receive advice please email email@example.com for the attention of the Plant Area.
Proof of purchase and date will be required if you are looking to swap the plant or discuss a refund. Exchange and refund are at the discretion of the store manager.
Home Collection for Faulty or Unwanted Items
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to advise issues and needs. The service is only available for unwanted, large, bulky items that require a two-man crew to lift.
We charge a minimum fee of £20.00 for collection within our set postcodes. Outside of these postcodes, a collection fee will need to be agreed and paid for before or at time of collection. If the item is faulty, we generally do not charge for a pickup. Items may be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. If the fault is after 30 days, please do get in touch. It will be at the discretion of the store manager as to the next steps to solve the issue.
Summary of Refund Policy
For an exchange or refund to be approved the item must:
- be in original packaging and unused, with labels and tags intact.
- have proof of purchase for the amount paid and date bought, e.g., receipt or delivery note.
- be returned or exchanged within 28 days of purchase date.
- refunds will be made only to the same credit or debit card used for the original purchase; gift voucher purchases will receive a gift voucher refund.
- for online orders, delivery costs and return of items charges are at the customer's cost.
- For faulty or damaged in transit items, delivery and collection charges will be reimbursed, if these returns are dealt with in 14 days of purchase. The items themselves, if agreed faulty or damaged in transit, will be replaced or money refunded.
- Please note that if goods are returned in a manner outside of our returns policy, we will be unable to process a refund.
- We cannot refund the gift card or voucher purchases
- We cannot refund items and food & drink which have an expiry date or takeaway food & drink purchased in our coffee shops
- We cannot refund or exchange products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, e.g., beauty products
- We do not refund any made to measure, bespoke purchases, e.g., Christmas wreaths
