There’s nothing like a real Christmas tree for making the festive season magical, sparkling with lights and filling the air with the fragrance of pine needles. Each year, more than 8 million of us put up a real Christmas tree in our homes, so once Christmas is over and it’s time to take down the tree for another year, it’s essential to dispose of it sustainably so that it does not end up in a landfill.
If you purchased your tree from Edwins, return it in its bag and we will recycle both bag and tree. If you did not purchase your tree at Edwins and would like us to recycle it please drop at either Clandon Park or Egley Road, Woking.
If you bought a potted tree, you can put it outside in its pot and treat it like all your other container plants. Water and feed it for the rest of the year, and with a bit of care you will be able to bring it inside next Christmas. Alternatively, if you have space in your garden, you could plant it out and let it grow into a tree. #edwinsplantgrowbeamazed
